Mental health is a vital piece of everyone’s overall health. NEW Health understands the need for behavioral health services in our community and is here to help. NEW Health uses the Collaborative Care Model to integrate both medical and behavioral health together. Collaborative Care is a team-based approach that allows everyone on your team to work together.
The Collaborative Care team consists of the patient, primary care provider, behavioral health care manager, and psychiatric consultant. Together we can help you find the tools and resources needed to improve your overall health. The Collaborative Care model is patient-centered and puts you at the center of counseling. Our Behavioral Health Care Managers will help you explore ways to manage your mental health symptoms and get back to the things you enjoy most. If you would like to talk with someone about your mental health and find out what services are right for you, contact NEW Health today.
Treatment Philosophy
Behavioral Health Care Managers use evidence-based practices, which include but are not limited to the following brief therapy models: Problem Solving Treatment-Primary Care (PST-PC), Behavioral Activation (BA), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Interpersonal Counseling (IPC).
Everyone experiences depression and anxiety in different ways. It’s normal for some people to need more support than others. If symptoms make it hard to function normally, or if they last more than a few weeks, it might be time to get help. Call us, we are here for you.
