October is Breast Cancer Awareness month.

NEW Health’s Kelly Witte, PA-C, discusses the importance of mammograms and wellness exams in the following video.

You do not need a doctors referral to schedule a screening mammogram. Contact an imaging center near you to self schedule. If you have questions on when you should start screening mammograms or how often you should one, please discuss with your primary care physician. While you are at it, now is a great time to schedule your annual wellness exam too. Call us today! 509-935-6004
