On August 8, 2023, NEW Health Colville Medical held a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the opening of its new state-of-the-art facility. The event was attended by over 100 community members and supporters! 

NEW Health CEO Desiree Sweeney led the ribbon cutting ceremony and was joined by guest speakers including Stevens County Commissioner Wes McCart, State Senator Shelly Short, NEW Health Board Chair Alison McGrane, and Crandall Coffee owner Jerrad Crandall.  

Guests were given tours of the new facility while enjoying live music by Brent Purvis’ jazz quartet. The two-story building features spacious exam rooms, behavioral health rooms, a laboratory, and a pharmacy.  

The new Colville Medical facility is a major milestone for NEW Health. It will allow the organization to expand its services and provide even more people with local health care services. NEW Health is grateful for the support of the community and looks forward to continuing to serve the people of northeast Washington for many years to come.
