Center Week – Stakeholder Appreciation Day
Today Congresswoman Cathy McMorris Rodgers
visited with our NEW Health executive team to discuss rural healthcare and the
impactful service that our employees are providing to the communities we serve.
Health centers have a proud tradition of support
from both sides of the political aisle. Bipartisan support continues to be
beneficial for advocacy and policy priorities. Earlier this year, Congress
passed a bipartisan budget deal that included $7.8
billion dollars in federal grant funding for the Community Health Center
program. Legislative support on both sides is not limited to federal level,
state and local support for health centers are also integral to our
success.
NEW Health would like to express our appreciation
to our legislators and representatives for the continued support that allows us
to provide medical, dental and pharmacy services to our communities.
