UW-RIDE
The Regional Initiatives in Dental Education (RIDE) program is a specific educational track of the University of Washington School of Dentistry (UWSOD) that trains dentists to meet the needs of rural and under-served populations in the state and region. NEW Health is a direct recipient of the RIDE program.
EWU
At the NEW Health’s Lake Spokane Clinic, we have the unique opportunity to have senior EWU dental hygiene students complete off-campus rotations with us. The students get to provide dental hygiene services to a variety of patients with direct supervision from our full-time hygienist.

At the NEW Health's Medical locations, we provide opportunities for Medical Doctors, Physician Assistants, Nurse Practitioners, Family Nurse Practitioner students to complete off campus rotations. The students get to observe a provider and provide medical services to a variety of patients with direct supervision and guidance. Medical Assistant students have the same opportunity shadowing another experienced Medical Assistants and practicing skills with direct supervision.
