FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

NEW Health Prepared for COVID-19 in the Tri-County area

As a safety net provider, NEW Health serves patients in Stevens, Ferry, and Pend Oreille counties regardless of their ability to pay, including those who are uninsured and underinsured. The Tri-County area has a confirmed case of COVID-19, the novel coronavirus. NEW Health is prepared to care for our communities during this time of emergency.

If you are experiencing symptoms like cough, fever, sore throat, or shortness of breath and would like to be evaluated by a health care provider, we are here for you. Our staff can assist you and connect you with care, which may include a phone evaluation, an in-person appointment at one of our clinics, or an appointment at one of our drive thru clinics. Please call 509-935-8424 to get connected now.

We have set up drive thru clinics and curbside care in the parking lots of our Colville and Chewelah locations. Our Lake Spokane drive thru clinic will be up and running early next week. All clinics currently have curbside case access. No appointment is necessary. If you are experiencing any respiratory or fever symptoms, please remain in your vehicle and call the clinic upon your arrival for further instructions.

Our patients and the communities we serve are of the highest importance to us. We will continue to communicate information as it becomes available.
